Girl Scouts Camp Signage

Girl Scouts of Western Ohio

The Girl Scouts of Western Ohio sought to refresh and update several of their beloved camp locations, recognizing a need to enhance their educational and interpretive messaging. Taylor Studios was brought in as the full-service exhibit development partner to manage this multi-site project. Our process began with a comprehensive plan for these updates, including facilitating focus groups to ensure the new content resonated with the Girl Scout community and the unique identity of each location. Subsequently, Taylor Studios provided interpretive design and fabrication services for educational signage installed throughout multiple camps. Each camp’s signage featured a unique design that expressed its distinct tie to nature and local history, transforming ordinary paths into hands-on learning displays and enriching the overall visitor experience. The final product involved the custom fabrication of durable, outdoor interpretive signs that blended seamlessly with the natural setting while clearly communicating the camp’s unique stories and educational goals.
