This week I visited the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas. It is an impressive museum and building. I encourage you to visit. Here are some of the things I liked.
Sometimes it is the simple things:
1. I like the foot-prints they put on the ground from the parking lot to help you find your way.
I like the benches with simple statements on them.
I like the scientific facts posted here and there.
I like that many of the copy panels did not have too much text.
Impressive audio/visuals
The surround video experience exploring our universe was impressive.
The 3-D was a lot of fun. I watched Titans of the Ice Age!
The experience to fly like a bird really put you in their wings, so to speak.
Exhibits
The variety of gallery experiences offered a wide range of enjoyable learning.
The bright colorful graphics and fun text are engaging.
The building is an exhibit in itself. The green technology and beautiful architecture enhances the visitor experience.
Visit the museum and let us know what you liked. Every visitor is different and there is plenty for everyone to enjoy.
