A Note From Betty

Greetings!

After over 30 years as President and Founder of Taylor Studios, Inc., it is time for me to step aside and let others lead the company into its bright future. This journey has been truly amazing. We’ve completed over 750 projects in 45 states and four countries—work that has inspired our clients and untold numbers of visitors. I am grateful for everything we have accomplished and all that it has taught me. There are many people to thank for their daily commitment to creating experiences that inspire people. Our team has produced some of the best exhibits in the industry, and I am confident they will continue to do so. I look forward to their ongoing success.

Over the remainder of this year, long-term TSI veterans Jason Cox and Brant Hendricks will move into the Vice President of Operations and President roles of the company, respectively.

Jason has worn many hats during his 24-year tenure. His expertise and intimate knowledge of every aspect of our work ensures great leadership of our design, fabrication, and production operations.

In his ten-plus years at Taylor Studios, Brant has led financial operations, production, and project management. His entrepreneurial nature and financial expertise form a strong foundation for his leadership as President of the company. If you would like to know more, take a look at this video of Brant and Jason discussing their history with Taylor Studios and their new roles.

Reginald Binford, the owner of our new parent company, Innovative Companies, isn’t involved in day-to-day operations, but he works closely with our leadership team in establishing our vision and strategy. That strategy includes acquiring other leading display, exhibit, and associated companies, which in turn furthers our strategy of expanding our offerings and expertise as we help our clients tell important stories that inspire their visitors. Each entity within Innovative Companies will operate independently and leverage each other’s specialties, to provide an enhanced experience for all customers.

Over the next several months, I’ll continue to reach out to clients and industry friends while assisting the leadership team in adding new members and handing over the reins to Brant and Jason. As they take over more of the day-to-day leadership, I’ll quietly slow my direct involvement. I’m looking forward to spending more time on my farm, riding my horses, and continuing my book writing adventure. I plan to take a good six to nine months of “think time” to decide what’s next after that.

I was still in college when we started what would become Taylor Studios. This transition feels bigger than that. Letting go of Taylor Studios is like sending your child off to college, except that I’m the one leaving home.

I am honored to have worked, created, and grown with so many creative and dedicated people. You inspire me every day.
